The Man Of Water Wells

The book "Along Water To Water" was an amazing book for me for many reasons, the thoughts, the place, the encouragement and at the end the need to help. I liked the thoughts because it really made you think would I be able to do this, or would I fall on the ground in terror. If I were asking myself were my family is in a dessert in the middle of a war I don't think I 'd be able to. The war how he had to struggle threw that, in the dessert. Crossing the Nile river full of crocodiles and men shooting it makes you just feel selfish and greedy, because you'll probably complain because you didn't get what you want for your birthday, and these kids don't get anything for there birthday! And my favorite part at the end where Salva dug wells for the Dinka and Nuer tribes was just really touching.

Meeting the man that had survived threw a war and then decided that he needed to help was honestly amazing.

Salva inspired me not just by his speach and how he's helping by putting in wells, but how he spent more than 5years of his life walking, living in refugee camps, being attacked by other animals, loosing important people, being attacked by soldiers, and being abandoned many times. And after all of that he comes back to help his people. And that to me is precious and very inspiring.
