Reaction Time Tutorial And Info

Hypothesis
I think that the dominant hand is faster because, it's used more often and holds more objects.

Variable
What hand is faster

Control Variables
The variables are having your fingers in the same position every time, having the ruler right above your thumb, keeping the ruler steady, keeping the arm in a right angle.

Trials
Ten per person

What Type Of Data?
Quantitative data

Procedure
1. Put the rubber band on your thumb and index finger
2. Measure the length between the two fingers and measure it on the ruler, make sure it's 8 centimeters
3. Make sure that when your done measuring the band it feels the same way. (Not tighter nor loser)
4. Your partner puts the ruler right above your thumb
5. Have your Partner drop with only gravity pulling the ruler down
6. Try and grab it
7. If you do catch it look what number your finger is on and write it in your Data, if not then write the maximum number on your ruler
8. Do the same thing with your other hand, alternate 10 times.

Conclusion
My conclusion is that the my nondomanint hand is faster. Our data did not support our hypothesis, we think that ou r hypothesis was just not the correct answer. I know think that our non dominant hand is faster becausee, it's used less.
