Wellness


What does wellness mean to you?

It’s staying healthy and taking care of your body 54321+8

Which habit of 54321+8 is your strength? Why? (Review your earlier blog post)

+8 For  me I’m best at sleeping because I just simply like to sleep a lot and If I don’t get at least nine hours of sleep my body doesn’t function well


Which habit do you need to continue to improve on?

4 I almost never have more than three glasses of water a day and I’m supposed to actually drink 4 at the least

How physically active have you been this year on a weekly basis? Share as many things that you can remember.

I’ve done and still do exercise every day I swim/ go to swim training 3-5 days a week for 2 hours

What is your strongest area of physical fitness? (strength, flexibility, cardio respiratory endurance) Which are do you need to work on?

respiratory, and I have to work on my flexibility

Why do you think being physically active is important?

It’s important to me because it doesn’t just take care of my body, but it’s also the thing that defines my mood or puts me in a better mood. For ex. When I get home from school I come home very tired and sometimes I get mad at my mom for who knows what reason and when I enter the water by the time I’m done swimming I’m  in the happiest mmod possible. So my point is that it doesn’t just help me stay help me but it helps me stay happy.

How well do you eat ‘MyPlate’ 3 meals a day?

I usually eat a ballanced meal but sometimes I have a bit more of something  like meat. My family eats a lot of meat

What is your food goal? (Review your earlier blog post) Did you achieve your “food goal” or do you need to continue to work on it?

My food goal was to have a balanced meal daily, yes I did acheive my goal

How stressed have you been this semester?

My stress this semester has been lower than last sememster, but my stress levels go up and down often usually depending how much homework I have

What two strategies work best for you to reduce stress?

When I’m stressed it’s best for me to not be around people and if I’m stressed I usually go take a nap before going to training

What do you do on a daily basis to promote wellness?

I exercise a lot and I try not to eat to many sweats
