Mr.Derksens comment on my first semester ITN:
Clara presented her ITN on how one Syrian woman went from being a school teacher to a member of ISIS. She presented with a clear voice, defined some of the key terms, and her Google Presentation did a good job of bringing her topic to life. Some areas for improvement include: 1) going deeper -- some background on what ISIS is at the beginning would have helped the audience understand the context better, 2) the perspectives should both been about this woman and her situation.
My Goal:
My goal for my second ITN is to dig deeper with the background of my topic so it's more understandable.
