Digital Media

1. My favourite things about social media is how I can communicate with my friends and other people and see what they are doing. It'd kinda like being everywhere at the same time.

2.What I don't like about in specific my favourite social media, Instagram, is that yes you can see what everyones is doing but it's like a way to bring yourself down, like see a picture of all of your friends hanging out at factories and you're at home, and it just makes you sad. It makes you feel bad about yourself.

3. Like I said before I know people have problems with this kind of stuff. I have many close friends at SAS that get cyberbullied atSAS through Instagram because other people are purposefully leaving them out and making it clear.

4.I didn't solve this problem, because I wasn't the problem. But I know that the person this happened to ended up spending a lot of time wit Mr.Swartstad.

5. Anything you say to them they can record publish, etc. Another key thing I always have to worry about with Social Media is that everything you say is recorded forever. So you can say something very bias and cruel to a friend as a joke but now colleges are looking at peoples online profiles and things like that, and once silly mistake and you may simply not get into certain colleges because of it.

6. For me its like an eight. Because I use social media just to find out something silly like my friends birthday. It's like the dictionary of life for me. But I do still get in contact with friends physicaly and I still do other things besides Social Media. I use a great amount of my time on social media, especially Skype, but not enough for me to rank it a nine or ten.

7. For me my biggest Social media problem is time management. I'm one of those people that will get distracted by anything, and having Skype open from six in the morning till twelve at night doesn't help me. So for that reason I would really like to improve on how many hours a day I sped on Skype [right now its about 4]. To try to achieve to get the time i spend on Skype from 30 60 minutes a day I'm going to simply not log into Skype all day. I've done this before, and it works pretty well so I'm hoping it will work again this time, although now I'll be trying it permanently.
